2009

The company is formed in Ernakulam as a private limited company with a vision to invest its time and energy into two promising domains-infotainment / game development and internet communication & collaboration (focussing on video conferencing).

2013

The company shifted its focus completely to internet communication & collaboration after successfully developing a software-based multiparty video communication solution - a disruption in the industry where expensive hardware-based video conferencing was considered the norm.

2014

The breakthrough in technology gets recognized by some of the leading video conferencing service providers in the US and Europe and the company signs contracts with them to continue R&D in the domain. Commercial products based on software MCU gets rolled into European markets.

Developed a highly secure, infinitely scalable software architecture for e-commerce & banking domains and signed contracts with clients from Europe, US & Asia. The solution is considered one of the best in its category by industry experts.

2015

The 5 member team grows to a 30-member team working in three emerging tech domains

2019

The company is already recognized as one of the most respected & innovative players in the multiparty video conferencing domain.

2020

The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), India posts a challenge to find a 100% made-in-India video conferencing solution that is secure, robust & scalable. From around 2000 participants Techgentsia’s product VCONSOL® gets selected and wins Rs. 10 million from the ministry.

VCONSOL® becomes India’s official video conferencing solution as “BharatVC” and is now hosted on the NIC cloud by MeitY

Wins the EMERGE 50 award by NASSCOM, The National Association of Software and Service Companies for 2020

2021

Launches VCONSOL® Court, India’s first role-based virtual court enabling high courts across India to run effortlessly. The honorable high court of Kerala deploys VCONSOL® Court for conducting its online court procedures.

2022

VCONSOL® is now the Government of Kerala’s official video conferencing solution branded as VMeet

Starts their second R&D office at Infopark, Kochi

Techgentsia wins the CRN India Excellence Award, 2022, acknowledging Techgentsia’s contribution to Unified Communication / IP Creation
